Tsuga canadensis 'Aurea Compacta'			Upright/Broad \| Zone 4 Dwarf \| Yellow
			This slow-growing hemlock produces graceful tiers of branches in an open architectural form, and where the sun hits the outer foliage, the needles take on a brilliant yellow. It looks especially good sited in cool, moist, well-drained spots and appreciates protection from hot, dry extremes to look its best. In morning sun and afternoon shade, ‘Aurea Compacta’ will become a striking courtyard specimen or a dramatic understory tree in a naturalistic design. Tolerates shade and prefers rich, well-drained soil with ample moisture.
