'Canadian Gold' quickly becomes a broad, conical tree with bright yellow foliage that will develop winter bronzing in colder climates. The adaptable Western Red Cedar that shows some deer resistance, makes a terrific, large wall of bright foliage that blocks unsightly views or lightens up a shady corner. The species was extremely important to Pacific Northwest Native Americans.
