Short, stiff branches are heavily clothed with slightly twisted needles in whorls around the terminal buds. A rich green color throughout the year, in winter, golden tips and white fascicles of the foliage give plants a “fiber-optic” look. No pruning or shearing is needed to maintain the smooth appearance of this distinctive, TRUdwarf® plant. Very slow growing. Discovered in the 1950’s by plantsman Andy Sherwood, but very limited availability in the trade.
