Design options abound with this cascading pine. Left unstaked, it becomes a dense, creeping carpet as its wavy branches traverse the ground. With staking, its strongly pendulous branches drape down in waves, all of them decorated with reddish-brown bark and long, dark green needles. In spring, long, white-gray candles give the tree additional interest.
