Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Split Rock'			Upright Broad \| Zone 5 Intermediate \| Blue/Green
			A unique combination of foliage color and texture gives this dramatic Hinoki its split personality. Blue needle-like foliage and green scale-like foliage occur simultaneously and give the dense, pyramidal tree a distinctive look. Occasional pruning will encourage trees to retain their dual texture, two-tone appearance; left unpruned, trees become increasingly green. Use this intermediate, upright conifer as a striking focal point or part of a mixed border where it has room to grow. Grow in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade.
