An interesting reversal between young and old warrants a close look at the foliage of this colorful Hinoki. The bright yellow, fern-like tips are characteristic of more mature foliage, resembling filled-out fans that curve gently downward. The inner growth looks more like powder blue juvenile foliage, the opposite of what you might expect. This striking, slow growing sport from 'Fernspray Gold' has a pyramidal habit and appreciates protection from extremes. Best in well-drained soil.
