Bark color is reddish-brown and winter color is intense plum. Responds well to regular shearing. Needs plenty of water. Chamaecyparis thyoidies 'Top Point'	Blue-green foliage, wine-colored stems, and narrow habit make this an excellent, compact specimen. In winter, the foliage adds an attractive purple blush.
